A few weeks back I attended the 2009 Business Summit sponsored by the DC Chamber of Commerce and the Washington Business Journal. � Both the keynote speaker and the members of the seminars I attended stressed the importance of social media presence on the internet as a way of promoting business. � This subject has been a topic of conversation at Classic Glass staff meetings as well as recent business and social gatherings and I’ve been wondering how, when and where to take the first step.�

Today I took a phone call from a customer inquiring about pricing for a back painted kitchen backsplash. � When I asked her how she heard about Classic Glass she said that she read about us on someone’s blog and added ‘somebody out there really likes your company!” � It seemed like kismet…

So let me take a moment to introduce you to my company, Classic Glass, Inc., which specializes in custom architectural art glass for home and office. � Located in Alexandria, VA, we have been in business for 28 years. � Our work can be viewed in many offices, hotels, restaurants, museums and private residences throughout the Washington, DC area.

In the coming weeks I hope to share with you some of the exciting projects we’re currently working on as well as some new products were developing with emphasis on recycled glass and LEED certification.
